We are proud of our teachers who are dedicated to providing excellence in teaching and caring for our students' academic needs.

All our teachers have been with us for over a number of years which translates into a consistent level of quality in teaching.  Furthermore, the director and the head teacher are responsible for providing instructional materials and monitoring student progress which also add to the consistency in management of all programs.

Peter Kim / Sage Math & Science Head teacher

[Mr.Kim is the founder/head teacher for all Sage math and science courses. A graduate of Stuyvesant and Cooper Union in New York (Environmental Engineering), nationally renowned for their excellence in math and science programs, he instills hard work, practice, and good study habits in his students.  Most of his students come back year after year through middle & high school, studying all math and science subjects and having him as a mentor for their years beyond high school.]

T. Pollak / Sage English teacher

[Mr.Pollak is a passionate teacher who works to solve a child's need in every way possible.   He can work with anyone from a nine-year-old to a seventeen-year-old and provide the same consistent level of passion and patience.  He has a vast knowledge in history and current affairs which helps students to tackle various topics in essay writing.  He has retired from a long teaching career in the Ramsey School District.]

[Mr.Park was a former student of Sage and is now enjoying a career as a high school math teacher, after earning his degree in Chemical Engineering.  With his intimate knowledge of Sage methodology and philosophy, Mr. Park is a second-generation Sage teacher who brings fresh energy and continues the Sage's tradition of excellence.  Mr. Park currently works at Ramapo Indian Hills high school in Oakland, NJ.]
